The Peranakan Club Pte Ltd takes the privacy of our guests, clients, and website visitors seriously. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data in accordance with the Singapore Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA).

When you make a reservation enquiry, purchase from The Atelier, subscribe to our Journal, or contact us directly, we may collect: your name, email address, telephone number, postal address (for deliveries), dietary requirements, and the content of your correspondence with us. We do not collect payment card information directly — all payments are processed by certified third-party payment processors.

We use your personal data to: process and manage your reservations and enquiries; communicate with you regarding your booking or purchase; send you Journal updates and event announcements (only where you have opted in); improve our services; and comply with our legal obligations under the Singapore Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA).

We process your data on the basis of: your consent (for marketing communications); the performance of a contract (for reservations and retail orders); our legitimate interests (for internal business administration and fraud prevention); and legal obligation (where required by Singapore law).

We retain your personal data for as long as is necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected and to comply with our legal obligations. Reservation data is retained for a maximum of three years. Marketing subscription data is retained until you unsubscribe.

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We may share your data with: our payment processors; our technology service providers (website hosting, email delivery); and where required by law or regulatory authority. All third-party processors are bound by data processing agreements that meet PDPA requirements.

Our website uses cookies to ensure it functions correctly and to understand how visitors use the site. Essential cookies are always active. Analytics cookies are only placed with your consent. You may manage your cookie preferences at any time through your browser settings. We do not use cookies to serve third-party advertising.

Under the PDPA, you have the right to: access the personal data we hold about you; correct any inaccurate data; withdraw consent for marketing at any time; and request erasure of your data where there is no legal basis for continued retention.
